Phenomenal Women 10th Anniversary Gala 2025
On April 26, 2025, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc, Richmond Metropolitan Area Chapter proudly hosted its Phenomenal Women 10th Anniversary Gala at Virginia Union University. This year’s theme was “A Decade of Dedication: Celebrating Advocacy and Impact,” and several extraordinary women from the Richmond community were recognized for their advocacy in the areas of health, education, and anti-poverty initiatives. These initiatives align with the chapter’s core pillars of Health Awareness, Education, and Economic Empowerment. In addition, the Dr. Delta R. Bowers Trailblazer Award was presented to one honoree for her visionary contributions to the Richmond community. The Richmond Metropolitan Area Chapter also awarded scholarships to exceptional students from Virginia Union University and Virginia State University, reflecting the organization’s commitment to empowering future leaders. Each award and scholarship exemplified the organization’s commitment to advancing equity and excellence in the Black community, and this milestone event celebrated the achievements of students and phenomenal women, as well as the legacy of advocacy that the Coalition upholds across its programs and initiatives.
