March 14, 2026 – Roses and Wings S.T.E.M. Project

On March 14, 2026, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc., Richmond Metropolitan Area Chapter, partnered with Roses and Wings to experience a day of exploring the wonders of science and discovering how each of us, as caretakers of the Earth, can help protect and sustain our environment.

Girls in STEM aren’t just important — they’re essential. When girls participate in science, technology, engineering, and math activities, they bring fresh perspectives, creative problem‑solving, and a level of curiosity that pushes innovation forward. STEM fields shape everything from healthcare to climate solutions to the technology we use every day, and having girls at the table ensures those solutions reflect the needs and ideas of everyone.

Thank you!

Sisterhood Weekend brought NCBW RMAC members and prospective members together

Sisterhood Weekend brought NCBW‑RMAC members and prospective members together to bond, learn, and worship as one powerful community.

We kicked off the weekend with an inspiring visit to the Giants exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, featuring 130 dynamic works by 40 Black artists from around the world.
Day 2 centered on our results‑driven chapter meeting, where we focused on impact and purpose. We wrapped up the weekend in worship at St. Peter Baptist Church, uplifted by a special message from Dr. Makola M. Abdullah, President of Virginia State University.

A beautiful weekend of sisterhood, culture, leadership, and shared vision.

NCBW‑RMAC believes service creates lasting change. This winter, our members accepted the “100 Boots on the Ground” challenge—donating 100 pairs of boots to support girls in our community.
Thanks to our partnership with Katie’s Soles, these boots reached local students and even supported a Chesterfield family recovering from a devastating house fire. Our donation made an immediate and meaningful impact.
Proud to continue uplifting our community through advocacy, service, and sisterhood.
